A group of 10-12 volunteers over the minimum age, are hoping to be a part of this year’s Donate Life float. How may I coordinate? I am the contact person for Boy Scout Troop 675 in Irvine, CA and will gather the older boys and their parents to join us on this heartwarming , purposeful float. We have volunteered on floats for the past 3-5 years, and are hoping to grow emotionally by working on yours.

My family has been touched by organ donations (one receiving, another donating).

December 19-30 is best. Perhaps Sun, Dec 27, 1pm-5pm

Thank you so much for your continued interest in decorating the Donate Life float. We opened our 2016 Donate Life Rose Parade Float decorating shifts on November 1st and our Unaffiliated Individuals shifts which are open to the public are quite popular therefore they were filled within hours of registration opening. I would still encourage you and the troops to sign-up as people sometimes do cancel their registration due to unexpected holiday plans or getting sick. When someone cancels their registration we pull from the first person on the waiting list for that particular shift. Please note all wait listed decorating shifts are available therefore feel free to visit http://www.DonateLifeFloat.org and click on the “Volunteer Sign-up” page to register. If you have any further questions please contact our Volunteer Operations Committee chair, Erika Ospina Awad at eospinaawad@onelegacy.org.
