Glen’s Story

Glen Patrick Haenelt, was born Oct 16, 1987 in Bakersfield, CA. Glen was a gifted athlete. He was passionate about baseball, whether he was playing first base or watching the Dodgers. Glen was also focused on physical fitness and nutrition. Besides baseball, he loved to play golf with his brother, fish, and walk his dogs. Glen had a kind heart and infectious smile. He was a devoted husband, son, brother, and best friend to all who knew him. Glen cherished his family and friends most. He wouldn’t think twice about helping a person, or animal, in need.

Glen died in an accident at age 28. His passing left a hole in our hearts that can never be filled. It was no surprise that he had been registered as a Donor. He had always been a giving person throughout his life and made sense that he would want to better the lives of others after he passed. We are very proud of his decision to help others through his gift of life. It is said “it is not the length of life but the depth.”
