Courtney’s Story

On September 15, 2008, at the age of 19, the Daybacks’ daughter, Courtney Lynne, passed away suddenly from cardiac arrest.

Courtney Lynne was a very fun loving and caring young lady. The Dayback family will forever miss her contagious smile and laughter. The loss of Courtney has left them with a very empty space in their home and in their hearts.

At the time of her death, Courtney Lynne was studying to be a special education teacher. Even at a young age, Courtney had a special gift of communicating and teaching children with special needs.

The family chose to donate her organs to those who were in need, as Courtney would have wanted them to do.  The Daybacks are very proud to say Courtney’s generous gift of life answered the prayers of seven families and saved seven lives. Although Courtney is no longer with us, because of her generous gift of life, her presence is felt everywhere.
