Taylor Paige Storch was a big sister to her brother and sister, Ryan and Peyton, with whom she shared her love, attention, advice, and lots of laughter. Touching the lives of so many people around her, Taylor also gave guidance, support, friendship, and the kind of love you never want to let go. And Taylor had a heart for those who didn’t quite fit in, as she reached out to those who needed it most.

Taylor was also a silly teenager who loved to make videos and laugh with her friends. She loved to shop, enjoyed computers, was very social but most of all, she loved being with her family. She was active in her church youth group, played French horn, cheered and was a competitive volleyball and basketball player at middle school, as well as on a local select volleyball club.

On March 15, 2010, 13-year-old Taylor had a tragic skiing accident. After her parents, Todd and Tara, were told that she would not survive, they made a prayerful choice they knew Taylor would want. They agreed to let Taylor's final gift be the gift of life. “On that day, Taylor became a hero to five people who were waiting on their heroes,” said her mother Tara.

Even during tragedy, Taylor's ability to give continues by providing the inspiration for Taylor's Gift Foundation. Established to honor her legacy, Taylor's Gift strives to encourage others to Regift life, Restore health and Renew families. Taylor's Gift Foundation wants to make donation feel like a natural choice, a beautiful way to give and make a difference in the lives of others.

“Taylor's life and her passing have already inspired thousands of people from around the world to become organ donors themselves,” said Tara. “She left a lasting imprint on the world. And now, she lives on through others because of her beautiful gift....Taylor's Gift."
