In her short life, Heather touched many people and was deeply loved by all who knew her. She loved animals and was obsessed with dolphins. Shortly before she was to begin college, 21-year old Heather died from an accidental drug overdose. In her honor, her family decided to turn their tragedy into a positive and loving gesture by donating her organs to those desperately in need. Five people were given a second chance thanks to Heather’s gifts of life.
