Mary Kathleen Sheridan "Kathy" Morris was mother to David, Michael and Stacey. For many years, she worked only part-time so that she could be present when her children got home from school. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her family. They were an all-encompassing passion and, in her mind, no sacrifice was too great when it came to their well-being.

Kathy also had a banking career for several years and was a successful real estate broker for 30 years before she started and operated her own company (ANS) for more than 10 years.

“The holidays were always a special time for her. That meant time with our grandchildren. Kathy really enjoyed hosting parties during the holidays and you could always count on good food, laughter, and the electric slide,” said her husband, Randy. Throughout her life, Kathy also enjoyed travel and beaches, particularly Nags Head, NC.

Kathy passed away unexpectedly at age 56 on May 23, 2009, from a cerebral hemorrhage. “She believed in organ donation and was able to give sight and life to those in desperate need,” said Randy. “And though she is gone, others live on through her generous donation.”
